Winter Olympics: the final rush

Norway Cross Country skiing Ladies

Only 2 days of competitions left and the race to win the Vancouver Winter Olympics is still open.

The USA have a 106 points lead over Norway. A good margin but not enough to guarantee success, against the plucky Scandinavian nation which has shown a remarkable killer instinct on the slopes, along the tracks and on the ice in and around Vancouver.

Yesterday Norway edged past Germany, a remarkable feat, thanks to gold in the Ladies 4 x 7,5 km Cross Country relay, while Canada too has picked up a place - by one point - over Austria. Russia and Switzerland, who did better in the earlier races, are definitely out of the fight for the top places.

So do check out Greatest Sporting Nation on Sunday 28th, to find out which country is the Olympic winner in Vancouver!
